EDOS participates every year in the Earth Hour Event, which is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. towards the end of March, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet. In March 2015, EDOS participated in this event in the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment HQ in cooperation with The Emirates Red crescent Society, the Security Search Directorate K9 & the Environment Friends Society.
