Dogs have different skull lengths depending on breed. Dog's skull is connected to the Vertebral Column through what is called an axis that provides movement flexibility to dog. There are 13 bones in a dog's skull & all of which are connected to each other but only the lower jawbones are movable so that a dog can chew its food easily.
